The case concluded with the court granting summary judgment in our clients’ favor dismissing all the plaintiff’s claims, resulting in a defense verdict and an order awarding attorneys’ fees and costs—a favorable outcome for our clients.

Andy Campbell and Yawanna McDonald recently represented a Madison County doctor in a breach of contract dispute. Campbell Partners’ client was an owner in a physician-owned outpatient surgery center in Madison County. After a laudable career, Campbell Partners’ client made the decision to close her practice. After notifying the surgery center of her decision to close her medical practice, the surgery center offered Campbell Partners’ client half the fair market value of her shares in the surgery center.

On a recent motion for preliminary injunction filed against Campbell Partners’ client in Delaware Chancery Court, the Court ruled in favor of Campbell Partners’ client. The Plaintiff was seeking to enjoin Campbell Partners’ client from his current profession based on alleged breaches of restrictive covenants.
